About this resume builder
This resume builder is designed for a clean one-page or two-page CV that prints well and remains easy to scan. It uses plain headings, normal text, and simple bullets, which are safer for applicant tracking systems than decorative layouts, icons, tables, or heavy graphics.
The preview updates as you type. Use concise bullets that show action and impact: what you did, where or for whom, and what changed. Numbers help when they are true and relevant, but clear scope is better than inflated metrics.
Assumptions: the print layout targets US Letter by default through browser printing. Most browsers can also save the result as PDF. For highly formal applications, always review the downloaded or printed PDF before submitting it.
Start with the role you want, then choose details that support that target. Strong resumes are selective: they emphasize relevant outcomes, tools, responsibilities, and context instead of listing every task. If a section feels crowded, shorten older roles first and keep the most recent or most relevant evidence easiest to find for reviewers.
Resume builder FAQs
Does the tool save my resume?
No. It does not use local storage, accounts, or file uploads. If you refresh the page, unsaved input is lost.
Should I use one page or two pages?
Early-career resumes are often strongest at one page. A two-page CV can be reasonable for senior, academic, technical, or project-heavy backgrounds.
Can applicant tracking systems read this?
The default output uses standard text and section headings. For ATS submissions, avoid adding columns or graphics after export, and check that copied text reads in the right order.
Why is there no photo field?
Many resume workflows prefer text-only documents. A photo can reduce portability and may be inappropriate for some hiring processes.
